5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Supabase (Database & Authentication)
We use Supabase for user authentication and data storage. Your account information and usage data are stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure.
Stripe (Payment Processing)
Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card details on our servers.
OpenRouter (AI Processing)
Video transcripts are sent to OpenRouter for AI-powered summarization. We do not share personal information with OpenRouter beyond the content you submit.
YouTube API Services
sum.video uses YouTube API Services to retrieve metadata of public videos and to publish our own tutorial videos on our own YouTube channel. By using sum.video you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube API Services are provided by Google; see the Google Privacy Policy.
We only access, use and store publicly available video information (such as title, channel name, duration and transcript) to provide summaries. We do not access your YouTube account or any private YouTube data, and we do not share YouTube data with third parties except the processors listed on this page.
You can ask us to delete any stored data at any time by deleting your account in the dashboard or by writing to the contact address in section 1; we delete it without undue delay. If you ever granted sum.video access to a Google account, you can revoke it on the Google security settings page.
PostHog (Analytics)
We use PostHog for user behavior analytics and event tracking to improve our service. PostHog may set cookies for analytics purposes.
Sentry (Error Tracking)
We use Sentry for error monitoring and performance tracking. Sentry may set cookies to track application performance and errors.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Aplicações móveis e compras na app
As apps para iOS e Android do sum.video partilham as mesmas contas e resumos do site, com estas diferenças:
- As subscrições Pro compradas nas apps são cobradas pela Apple App Store ou Google Play, e não pela Stripe.
- Usamos o RevenueCat para validar os recibos da loja e sincronizar o estado da subscrição com a tua conta.
- As aplicações móveis não incluem análises do PostHog nem SDKs de rastreio publicitário.
- Podes apagar a tua conta em Conta na app móvel ou no teu painel no site. Isso remove os teus dados pessoais no sum.video.
- Apagar a tua conta não cancela uma subscrição ativa da App Store ou Google Play. Podes cancelá-las nas definições de subscrição do Apple ID ou Google Play.
Conectores para Claude e ChatGPT
Se ligares o Claude ou o ChatGPT ao sum.video, essas aplicações enviam os URLs dos vídeos do YouTube e as perguntas que fizeres através do conector. Nós processamos esses dados ao abrigo da tua conta atual, quota semanal de resumos e quota de chat. Não recebemos o resto da tua conversa no Claude ou no ChatGPT.
6. Data Retention
Account Data
Retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after account closure for legal and business purposes.
Usage Data
Video URLs and summaries are retained for 2 years to improve service quality and provide account history.
Payment Data
Retained for 7 years as required by Hungarian accounting and tax regulations.
Technical Data
Logs and technical data are retained for 1 year for security and performance monitoring.
