5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Supabase (Database & Authentication)
We use Supabase for user authentication and data storage. Your account information and usage data are stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure.
Stripe (Payment Processing)
Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card details on our servers.
OpenRouter (AI Processing)
Video transcripts are sent to OpenRouter for AI-powered summarization. We do not share personal information with OpenRouter beyond the content you submit.
YouTube API Services
sum.video uses YouTube API Services to retrieve metadata of public videos and to publish our own tutorial videos on our own YouTube channel. By using sum.video you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube API Services are provided by Google; see the Google Privacy Policy.
We only access, use and store publicly available video information (such as title, channel name, duration and transcript) to provide summaries. We do not access your YouTube account or any private YouTube data, and we do not share YouTube data with third parties except the processors listed on this page.
You can ask us to delete any stored data at any time by deleting your account in the dashboard or by writing to the contact address in section 1; we delete it without undue delay. If you ever granted sum.video access to a Google account, you can revoke it on the Google security settings page.
PostHog (Analytics)
We use PostHog for user behavior analytics and event tracking to improve our service. PostHog may set cookies for analytics purposes.
Sentry (Error Tracking)
We use Sentry for error monitoring and performance tracking. Sentry may set cookies to track application performance and errors.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Mga mobile app at in-app purchase
Ang sum.video iOS at Android apps ay gumagamit ng parehong mga account at buod tulad ng sa website, maliban sa mga ito:
- Ang mga Pro subscription na binili sa mga app ay sinisingil ng Apple App Store o Google Play, hindi ng Stripe.
- Ginagamit namin ang RevenueCat para i-validate ang mga resibo ng store at i-sync ang status ng subscription sa iyong account.
- Ang mga mobile app ay walang kasamang PostHog analytics o advertising tracking SDK.
- Puwede mong burahin ang iyong account mula sa Account sa mobile app o mula sa iyong dashboard sa website. Tinatanggal nito ang personal na data ng iyong account sa sum.video.
- Ang pagbura sa iyong account ay hindi nag kansela ng aktibong App Store o Google Play subscription. Kanselahin ang mga ito sa mga setting ng Apple ID o Google Play subscription.
Mga connector ng Claude at ChatGPT
Kung ikinonekta mo ang Claude o ChatGPT sa sum.video, ipinapadala ng mga app na iyon ang mga YouTube video URL at tanong na itinanong mo sa pamamagitan ng connector. Pinoproseso namin ang mga ito sa ilalim ng iyong kasalukuyang account, lingguhang summary quota, at chat quota. Hindi namin natatanggap ang iba pang bahagi ng iyong pag-uusap sa Claude o ChatGPT.
6. Data Retention
Account Data
Retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after account closure for legal and business purposes.
Usage Data
Video URLs and summaries are retained for 2 years to improve service quality and provide account history.
Payment Data
Retained for 7 years as required by Hungarian accounting and tax regulations.
Technical Data
Logs and technical data are retained for 1 year for security and performance monitoring.
