Supabase (Database & Authentication)

We use Supabase for user authentication and data storage. Your account information and usage data are stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure.

Stripe (Payment Processing)

Payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card details on our servers.

OpenRouter (AI Processing)

Video transcripts are sent to OpenRouter for AI-powered summarization. We do not share personal information with OpenRouter beyond the content you submit.

YouTube API Services

sum.video uses YouTube API Services to retrieve metadata of public videos and to publish our own tutorial videos on our own YouTube channel. By using sum.video you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. YouTube API Services are provided by Google; see the Google Privacy Policy.

We only access, use and store publicly available video information (such as title, channel name, duration and transcript) to provide summaries. We do not access your YouTube account or any private YouTube data, and we do not share YouTube data with third parties except the processors listed on this page.

You can ask us to delete any stored data at any time by deleting your account in the dashboard or by writing to the contact address in section 1; we delete it without undue delay. If you ever granted sum.video access to a Google account, you can revoke it on the Google security settings page.

PostHog (Analytics)

We use PostHog for user behavior analytics and event tracking to improve our service. PostHog may set cookies for analytics purposes.

Sentry (Error Tracking)

We use Sentry for error monitoring and performance tracking. Sentry may set cookies to track application performance and errors.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.

Aplicacions mòbils i compres dins de l'aplicació

Les aplicacions de sum.video per a iOS i Android comparteixen els mateixos comptes i resums que el lloc web, amb aquestes diferències:

  • Les subscripcions Pro comprades a les aplicacions són facturades per Apple App Store o Google Play, no per Stripe.
  • Utilitzem RevenueCat per validar els rebuts de la botiga i sincronitzar l'estat de la subscripció amb el teu compte.
  • Les aplicacions mòbils no inclouen analítiques de PostHog ni SDKs de seguiment de publicitat.
  • Pots eliminar el teu compte des de Compte a l'aplicació mòbil o des del teu panell al lloc web. Això elimina les teves dades personals del compte a sum.video.
  • Eliminar el teu compte no cancel·la una subscripció activa a l'App Store o Google Play. Cancel·la-les a la configuració de subscripcions d'Apple ID o Google Play.

Connectors de Claude i ChatGPT

Si connectes Claude o ChatGPT a sum.video, aquestes aplicacions envien les URL dels vídeos de YouTube i les preguntes que fas a través del connector. Les processem sota el teu compte existent, la quota de resum setmanal i la quota de xat. No rebem la resta de la teva conversa de Claude o ChatGPT.

6. Data Retention

Account Data

Retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after account closure for legal and business purposes.

Usage Data

Video URLs and summaries are retained for 2 years to improve service quality and provide account history.

Payment Data

Retained for 7 years as required by Hungarian accounting and tax regulations.

Technical Data

Logs and technical data are retained for 1 year for security and performance monitoring.
